Hi! I am Jennifer Knaack Delgado. I would love to connect with you and appreciate you stopping by to learn more about me.
I am originally from Des Moines, Iowa. I graduated with a BBA and MA in Spanish from the University of Iowa, and earned an MBA in International Business from the Thunderbird School of International Business.
I now live in Sarasota, Florida with my husband, Edwar Delgado, and our three sons. I work for Met Life as Vice President of HR Shared Services (Operations). I have spent most of my professional working career working for Met Life (or the AIG subsidiary which was acquired by Met Life). All of this time I have worked in the international arena.
I have served tours of duty in Paris, France and Mexico City, Mexico. I have studied in Venezuela, Mexico, Spain and Chile. I have also worked in Brazil.

What do I bring to an organization? There is quite a lot. Let me outline some of my skills which I hope you might find interesting.
TECHNICAL ACUMEN
I understand how multinational companies work. Specifically, I have experience with Global Strategy, Global Project Management, and end-to-end HR functions. I get how to navigate highly complex and matrixed organizations at a global, regional, and local levels. From HRBP and talent acquisition to payroll and operations functions, I have been involved in set-up, execution, and ongoing change management.
PROBLEM SOLVER
Over the course of my career, I have earned a reputation for being able to tackle complicated or difficult assignments. I am able to focus on what needs to be accomplished while supporting the personnel involved or affected by the results. I know how to get things done!
